I was crusing down my street in 2nd and go to downshift to 1st to get up my driveway and I didn't notice I hit between 1st and 2nd and the shifter popped back into neutral. I slowly let out the clutch and gave it gas and it was revving real high while I was like WTF WHY AM I GOING BACKWARDS.

Hmmm... I recall popping an axle out of a tranny once, the fluid was still hot and I had forgotten to drain it, and a 1/2 second later I had burning hot tranny fluid all over my face, head, and neck...

Oh, I also forgot, when I was cleaning my engine bay I accidently left a can of degreaser under the hood. I drove 5 miles and when I was idling in a parking lot, I heard this clanking sound. The nozzle of the can was touching the serpentine belt, melting the nozzle.

QUOTE(playr158 @ Aug 15, 2005 - 12:18 PM) sorry but to everyone who drove drunk in wrecked.... glad you did you desirved it I'll second that. The dumbest thing I did has most of you beat I think. I drove my car for 6-9 months thinking the passenger side door was broke, so I made people crawl in out and the window to get in. Turns out, the lock was just disconnected from the lever on the inside. One day I decided to try and unlock it from the out side, and it opened right up. I felt pretty dumb. I thought it was funny though. (This was not the Celica) -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy
