What are the differences between the usdm GT and the JDM GT-four besides the awd tranny and the 3s-gte...

Basicaly the main thing I want to know is if the chassis is actually different in length, width, etc... but any and all differences you can think of would be great.

the chassis and frame differ very very slightly. like, less than an inch either way, and i think most of that is due to the fact that the front end is longer with the different bumper, and the gas tank being in a different place.

different brakes, exhaust path, reloacated gas tank (which = completely different floor plan), right hand drive (most of them), different suspension... there's more. the upshot of this is, they are 2 different cars. the GT4 isn't just a GT with a different engine and transmission.

why do you ask? if you are thinking about doing an AWD conversion, you should read the stickies. it's just not practical. it would probably cost you less to import one than to do a conversion.

yea in addition to what charlie says...gt-4's dont have a spare tirewell

what i would say to do is get a LSD and just keep it front wheel drive...

thats if you are unsure about it...but if you are completely sure that you can do this and have the know how then get all the parts and good luck

but i would say for MOST people to just keep it FWD.
