first bought the car boost use to run at 1.2bar over time this as creeped off now the car boost's at 1.1bar but just l8ly the car as been playing up it will only boost to 0.5bar now when the car is cold it will boost at 1.1bar but once the car gets warm thats it she only boosts at 0.5bar. now do u think its the code 54 that is playing my car up? if any one else as had this problem please tell me how u fixed it? thank u craig |

If you still have the CEL from the code 54 it will keep you in low boost mode
check to make sure ur IC water level is correct and the your pump is working. To check the pump leave the car idling, walk around to the engine bay blip the throttle with ur hand and you should feel the pump to see if it turns on. At an idle the pump will be off. If that stuff doesnt work out for ya. you can just ground an ecu wire and the 54 goes away. Good luck, DEF -------------------- I will return one day. |

If the pump is faulty, that will throw a 54 as well. Insted of feeling the pump. Open the IC fill cap let the car idle up to temperature. Then blip the throttle a few times and look to see if the fluid level goes up and down at the fill point of ur IC. If so the pump is working correctly. Good luck, Cheers -------------------- I will return one day. |

you dont need to bleed the intercooler lines as such....just top it up, take it for a short run then top it up again....that should be all you need to do
