Whats the best way to shoot a incar video?? I bought this little suctioncup tripod, but im not sure how exactly where or how 2 hook it up. I heard u can make this extention that attaches to the headrest that will bring it out centered. Im headin up 2 a big supra club monthly meet, and i figure ill take some of the guys through this crazy twisty section near my house. So i figure ill run some video while goin through the twistys and ill take some pics and video from the meet and post em later.

I fugure just take a peace of wood that is long enough to go between the head rest's, then tape it there, and secure the camera to the wood however possible.

Coomer made a very impressive one. Hopefully he sees this thread and shows us exactly how he did it.

I saw where a couple of my Ford Probe buddies made B-Pillar bars. Bar that bolted where your seatbelts bolt to, behind your head. most used it as a cam mount. works pretty good too.

There's the one I made...it's an aluminum square bar with holes drilled for u-bolts to clamp around the headrest posts. The u-bolts use wing nuts so I can add/remove the bar with no tools. In the middle there's a bent metal plate with a bolt that threads into the tripod mount of any camera. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

yea, there was a guy i met who did that in his 240 coupe. He only made it going off the passanger side headrest. The only problem is, im gettin my sparcos soon, so that wont work. So i found a subsitution. I bought this lil suction cup trypod thats stupidly strong, mounted my camera upsidedown holding onto my sunroof and just downloaded the video onto my comp and inverted it. Its easy to set up, looks kinda retarted, but i also have long arms and if i did a mount like what coom did i would smack my elbows all the time, the way i did it i dont smack what so ever. I took some short videos on friday to see if it works, and so far its ok. Im gonna try n make a simple mount using my trunk cover(drill a hole and buy a trypod head). I tryed using my wide angle lens witch looked pretty good.
Plus also with ur setup coom, i usually have my seat more forward than my gf's/passangers. I usually have mine almost straight, gf usually has hers back n is just relaxing. This post has been edited by Valo666: Oct 10, 2005 - 10:05 PM |

Best way ... grap a friend (that has some good camra skillz ) and throw him/her in the back seat... (take out passanger seat) and hand him/her that camara.. the video will come out 100 times better then any tripod or mounting system... and installation can be done by offering lunch ...
