2006 Calendar Options

Man, Coomer have some really amazing pictures. If his car is in the 2006 calendar, I am definately getting one. I wonder if my old celica could be in it, I still have some really awesome pictures of it.

I dont know if January first is realistic though... I mean what about the winter shots, MUST they have snow in them? Personally for December I'd like to have mine and Rob's (RJB23) cars in the same pic.

i have the pics from Jon's camera...
although my car no longer has the TRD Spoiler, or SSIII front splitters. . . my resolution is now going from 1600 to 24xx so i can't get out for that reason, hah.

i have the high resolutions back at school, but yea.
i liked the voting this we had set-up...that was kewl, getting to see all the pics(well a good bit of em). this time maybe more pics(more than one of a member if needed), but their total can be added to make sure they dont get axed because 50% of their votes were split into a second pic.

one question though! is there gonna be like... a "type" of celica that's allowed in before others. Like, let's say for instance there's a bone stock Celica that's in really good shape, and has a good pic, would it even have a chance? Or is it JUST the modified ones that get in? Because if it's just modified ones, why do other people even try...? I dunno, i think it should be a little different, some people like modified, some don't, we should have a variety... my opinion anyway

I had an idea that could catch the intrest of those that are into stock or modified.
What if the first shot (jan.) was a clean stock celica, then, each month show a progression of modifications up to Dec. showing a fully modified celica. Eh, any thoughts?

Mabey even have multiple shots in one month, (same car though) having one big shot of the full car and mabey two small boxes in the side showing the engine bay or something else of the car.

Just thought I'd throw that out. Thought it would be nice.

all celicas on the site are eligible! just make sure its a good shot lets keep it like last year with no people on the cars..we can make a seperate calendar for that.

Id like to have a work appropriate one hence why no people on the pics would be great :-)

Hmmm...

I want my car in the calender! It'll have it's body kit painted and bolted on by the end of this month pretty much... So most likely it'd be ready for calender shots!

But if people wan their car in the calender more... I'll give up a slot for them... besides... i dont think I could take good enough pics... My camera sucks

Well, no actually I'm not Joe told me you were looking for me and here I am.

Sorry, haven't done a thing to the celi in the longest time (*gasp* she hasn't been washed in a month even!) and I've been really busy, too busy to check the forums regularly.

Of course, that compounded with it most of the "old" hardcore group not being present anymore.. I miss my homies yo! at least, maybe that's just my imagination....

If you guys want me to organize the cal again, I'll do it.

My roommate and I were actually looking at other places that could print calendars besides cafepress (since last year we did 6gc and 3si.org), but the minimum order requirements were way above what we sold last year, which would make every calendar much more expensive.

PSS: For all the people who have never seen me before, I have 5 bars. HA
