While it's being rebuilt you might as well have it upgraded as well.
ATS Racing CT27 upgrade: $850 I don't personally have it, but I haven't read any complaints about it. ATS Racing's page about the CT27: http://www.atsracing.net/CT27.htm Presure2's 200+WHP CT27 Powered machine: http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=23187 More info on Presure2's CT27: http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=25469 If your core is in bad shape it may cost more: QUOTE(ATS Racing) Turbocharger cores: Must be received within 30 days of purchase of rebuilt/upgraded turbo to be eligible for refund. Cores with damaged compressor housings, damaged exhaust housings, broken turbine shafts, damaged turbine wheels are not acceptable. Cores with damaged (but not broken) turbine shafts or bearing housings are eligible for a partial care refund. Typical cost to recondition a shaft or bearing housing is $100 each.

Im not really lookin to upgrade, the CT27 sounds nice but I'm not looking for huge power right now, just a clean runing stock ct26 really, mine is in pretty good condition but figure if im gonna do it right I might as well and have it rebuilt, im sure the seals will diffently need to be replaced though.

Performance Techniques
Give them a call. Had mine rebuilt and upgraded with them. They do great work, and I'm extremely HAPPY with my turbo. |
