just thought id share it makes me feel better bout the whole thing

Well i dont know exactly what i did yet (havent torn it apart ) but it sounds horrible and im burning oil all of a sudden so i think i maybe have a bad or a few bad valve seats and maybe sucked a valve or floated or just plain screwed up a valve anyways now my car burns a half quart of oil like every three days but doesnt blow smoke so yea well just thought i would keep people posted

definatly the valves...had the same problem.....althought my was just burning oil really bad like 2 quarts every 100 miles....don't know about the knock though.....is it loud, faint? and is the knock constant?

it doesnt actually knock it just sounds really awful the sound is unlike anything ive ever heard and i know what a car sounds like when the valve knock or a rod knocks and things like that it doesnt sound like any of that

ur having the same problem as me...i think u need to adjust the valves or something...im doing that this weekend...hopefully that annoying sound goes away...good luck though man...keep us posted...

actually turned out to be simple once i actually started tearin it apart the timing belt skipped a tooth so i replaced the timing belt and now its fixed along with some problems ive been having for a bout a few months
