So im thumbing through some stuff on the net...and come across this:
http://www.poweredbytoyota.com/ssfeturbo.html Long story short, it is only $2,500. And then u need to buy the intercooler, boost controler, boost gauge, turbo timer, and an afr gauge. Is it worth the money......for 45.4 horsepower to the wheels? Considering Presure2 is running an extra 70 or such. Of course they dynoed it at 5psi, while presure2 is running like 8 to 9. (when dynoed) Idk seems like fun to get tho....maybe we could work out a deal with them, get one, install it and give them a review to try and bulster sales for them..lol or not If it needs to be said, im volunteering my car right now..so i shotty the turbo! lol Kudos to all. -------------------- Kawi Love |

devilsden97, the burien kit is a really low boost set up. and it's far from complete.
lew right bout the $3k set up. that's pretty much around the cost to built a reliable kit IMO. that's how much it cost me. a GOOD SET UP, simple. look at presure2's turbo set up. there's your answer. -------------------- |

you are right. that's why it's important that you get it from reliable companies like jarco. i think they do compression and leakdown test on their engines

i saw this kit awhile back just searchin on the net. it looks like a good kit. I even e-mail these guys and asked them about every thing...They recondition the manifolds (ie sand blast and grind down the inside of the manifold), recondition the injectors or buy new ones and every thing else is brand spankin new. Its a pretty good deal and the person from the company i talked to said that it takes roughly about 6 hours to install depending on your mechanical abilities.
