Hi guys,

Just bought fog lights for my 94 celica gt. These are the oem fog lights. I was wondering what are all the things I need such as switch, brackets, or wiring to install them and how do I mount and install them? My lights haven't arrived yet but I will next week but I know they come with the brackets. How do you wire the damn thing? Thanks.

This should help out a bit. I also have a 1994. I had a look at my harness when I had the nose off for my swap. I have NO wiring for fog lights. Your car might be the same. The diagrams above are for a 1997 and show what the plugs should look like.

they mount to you crash bar. You would need to take off you bumper. for wiring you could just wire them in like this

if you want them to light up with your headlights, put 85 to one of the headlight fuses in the engine bay fuse box.

if you want them to light up with your parking lights, 85 to your side marker (splice into).

You may want to wire them so they're on with either your ignition or parking lights as well. Then you can creep through neighborhoods and whatnot still being able to see but not having your tail-lights on and stuff(also helpful when needing to outrun from crazy people or something at night...don't ask me how I know...) and you can still have your fog lights stay on with the ignition off and auto shut off with everything else when the driver's door is opened.

Could I just run it directly to the battery with just a fuse and a switch?

you could, but it would be smart to use an inline fuse or a relay for consistant current.

You really want to use a relay, so that you don't burn up a switch.
