Nope, they weren't produced in or imported to the US by Toyota. There are only a handful around the country that were imported by individuals.

Nope, I'm afraid they never were, you can find them mostly in Japan, europe and other various locations around the world, but not here
![]() Anyway, there are still people who import them(rarely) but it is costly. The more common solution is to swap a 3sgte into a celica. While it won't be awd with just the engine swap, it's still a hell of a time. welcome to the site. --------------------

Would that be expensive? |

You can bring them into the US for show/off-road right? Then why not import one, Take the plates from your original celica, and buy inspection stickers from a guy who knows a guy? Because If you get caught, you get the car impounded forever and you'll get fined and pay high insurance for years.

i spoke to a import officer and gt4 does not qualify for any kind of importation unless you are a sports team coming here for a competition and leaving the country asap with your vehicle

this always bugged me, its a dang car, not a ton of dope or illegal aliens. i think if you have the money you should be able to do it legally. maybe im missing something, but i hate seemingly stupid regulations.
-------------------- ![]() I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. |

I'm sure if you had enough money you could make it work.
