thats right ladies and gentelmen,
my wife jenn piloted the car to an outstanding 14.07 run yesterday @ Island dragway down in NJ.
it was only her second time ever on the track, and only had 9 runs total under her belt. (6last time, we only got 3 runs this time the track was so buzy!!)
she shaved basicly a full second off her personal best.
needless to say, im VERY happy, i think she did an AWESOME job.
not too shabby at all for the little 5sfTe i think!
heres a vid of the run
RIGHT-CLICK, SAVE-AS

Jeff (defgeph) and dave (DGperformance) and vin (shin)also were there, it was GREAT fun, ill upload some pics and vids later on.
we also got a peek at "hyde" jeff fazios car, lemme tell ya, that thing is AMAZING. over 440whp and still on the stock bottom end. OVER 200k miles hahah amazing.

more to come later on!!

Not so great of a day for the RC. thumbsdown.gif
I had some issues with the IC cooling system, and my first time on slicks. I also had a fear of tearing out my axles, which was weighing on my shoulders the whole day.
I was not doing a proper burnout in the water box, I never got the tires hot. If you dont perform a proper burn out the tire never become hot and sticky. I just need a little more practice to get it right. The next time at the track will be better for me. Yesterday was a huge learning experience.

Everybody had great runs though, 5sfte @ 14.07 doesnt get any better than that. Dave ran a 13.5 in his mr2, which was very kick ass. Vin got into the low 17's even with my 17's wink.gif awesome.

As for myself I had a near perfect reaction time of .01, no traction off the line in all three runs. Best time of the day was like a 14.05 or something. My MPH bumped up to a 104. It was a frustrating day for me, but I learned alot in 3 runs.

I still had an awesome time, its doesnt get any better than seeing these guys and gals with huge smiles on there faces. You guys are awesome thanks for coming.
I'm ready to go back and rip the asphalt off the line.

DEF

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
