winter finally is here..., and it sucks! Options

pointless post here but it finally snowed here the other day about 3 inches id guess. high today was 7, and its -8 right now. my class attendance just fell in time for finals lol. hmmm lay in bed or get up and walk 25 min in cold wind to get to 8am health class... and i actually had trouble starting my car. god i cant wait till spring...

I dislike winter, I hate cold, I dislike snow. Winter isn't really good for anything, but I can't say I hate it because I only hate it when it makes everything cold. Snow can be cool to play it, it would be better if I had AWD and didn't have to worry about getting places.

i agree, the snow isnt bad but i hate the cold. i like it when it snows and it melts the next day. winter is only good if im on the slopes . ya getting places sucks with my car in the snow, especially up the driveway at home lol

Is it just me, or does the Celica really suck in the snow too? I've driven a good bit of FWD cars in the snow, and this thing just seems to really suck.

Yeah, I know. I've had sportier tires on the Celica than other cars. But I did have, and will have again tomorrow, so aggersive studed radials on my car. And it when pretty good with those on. But my old Geo would go anywere on regualar snow tires. It's weigth was split 65%-35% though. That probably had something to do with it. It's what I compare the Celica to the most.

yep. it's gunna snow tonight here, i already got told not to come to work tomorrow, since my car doesnt really move in the snow... haha

I love winter n snow. My body is messed up so my blood temp. is 2 dregees colder than most ppls so my body always feels hot. Winter to me is the best time of year. Its around -5 here on average these last 2 weeks. Cold weather = me comfortable, and snow = $$$$. Im starting a new job on the 19th workin at a local crappy ski hill workin from 9-9 most days at $15-18+ per hour. Thats durin the week and weekend im workin at a different bigger ski hill at around $19 an hour. All that to ski and teach people how to/improve skills.

Its around -5 here on average these last 2 weeks. Cold weather = me comfortable, and snow = $$$$. Im starting a new job on the 19th workin at a local crappy ski hill workin from 9-9 most days at $15-18+ per hour. Thats durin the week and weekend im workin at a different bigger ski hill at around $19 an hour. All that to ski and teach people how to/improve skills.

That sounds like a tight job. I like snow but I hate the cold, waking up for class just got so much harder

Snow doesn't bother me working on my car haha thats why i got a heated garage with air compressor and any tool you can name <-(by the way my dads been a mechanic for 30 years. lol thats why i got all the tools. But anyways im doing all my body work and bodykit prep, and all the things on my winter projects list in there. But yes i hate cold weather snow is purty. But cold weather = sucky

I am like Valo, my body temp is a few degrees cooler than most, so I am always hot. I personally feel at home in the winter. It gives me the excuse to cuddle up with my g/f in front of the fire and it means Christmas and Snowboarding and Vacations are soon to arrive.

I have some Kumhos that handle suprisingly well in the snow.

I hate the cold, especially how it fogs up the windows, and sometimes my starter sticks in the cold weather. I hate how the corners of the streets have slush on them and when you try and pull out, your tires slip. Although I do like to do a bit of sliding in parking lots and wide streets. The salt and dirty melted snow gets all over the car and makes it look like crap. I can't wait until spring so I can slap on my 17s and lower it.

Only thing bad I have been getting bad during the winter is its rain a litt.e The temp. hasnt even dropped at all.
