Well alot of people call their cars by the generation of their build, making the 94-99 Celicas 6th Gen <- MKVI
Some other calls their car MKs such as the Supra and the MR2 crowd MKI <- 1st Gen So what do you prefer to call your car? Im starting to get into the habit of calling Toyota cars by MK since the car (toyota) enthusiast people I hang our are either MR2s or Supra, now some 86s |

I use MK when I refer to VW's. Example: I use to own a MKII GTi. This can also be used for the MR-2 and Supra, but the Celicas must be called gens. I mean... come on.. We wouldn't want to change "6gc" to "MKVIC"
