damnit. stupid car. well tonight i was coming home from work and the pos celica of mine gives me another problem. i feel the steering wheel pull like crazy to the left. im thinking i ran over a cheetah or something. the road is real rough and bumpy. so i stop at my bros job which is on the way home. i have 18 inch rims on my car and that damn pos. lol. the tire came off the rim... it was real weird. like the rim was in place but the tire wasnt on it... i dunno. anyway. i put the stupid temp one. damn donut! im so embaressed. anyway. it looks real funny. i took the rim to the gas station and filled it up with air... anyway, anyone have an idea how much pressure should be in 18 inch tires? i put like 30... but yeah, it filled up and i stuck it in my trunk and i'll check on it tomorow. hopefully it's not fu cked up and just lost pressure because somone wanted to play a prank and stuck a little rock in it to deflate it. lets hope. lol. when i took the tire off, it was deflated, pretty much. so i'll find out tomorow. just wanted to share that. everyday, this piece of crap gives me a new problem. but i love that b!tch. crazy celi! lol. everythign i said here was out of love for my celi. i love it. lol. later.

Yeah, I know how you feel. Both of my bolts for my e-brake sheared off, in the chassis. Turns out they were rusted in. I had to drill them out, and tap them. Threw in some stainless steel bolts and I was good to go.

Yesterday my battery kept draining down. I'd jump it, but it wasn't long before the battery would die again. I went to put away my jumper cables in my trunk and noticed there was smoke coming from my trunk latch. A spring fell out of the latch, and grounded the sensor for the trunk. I fixed it today and now my trunk closes, and no more shorting, but I disconnected the sensor just to be safe. I'll test the car tonight to see if the battery holds the charge.

My clutch is on its way out, too. This pisses me off to no end because it's gonna cost me like $500-$600.

Love-hate relationship. You hit the nail right on the head, bboy.

I hope you are not one of those people who read the max psi lettering on the tyre and decides to pump that much into it .

Problems always exist in old cars , mine had all sorts of problems for a period of time but it was all fixed up and now the only problem I have is respraying my interior panels and waiting for my springs to arrive biggrin.gif

Normal tire pressure is about 3 pounds under the max. So if your tires say "do not inflate past 35 psi" then you need 32. Each tire is different.
