I got my SS-III splitters from Chrisc. I painted, clear coated, and installed them. I think it turned out pretty nice.

Great Work! Wow, I envy that you did that all yourself! Do you have previous experience doing this type of work?

No, not really. My friends are autobody men so I learned some basics. I got the paint and painted it in my dads shop, then clear coated it, wet sanded, more clear coat and then installed them. Actually, the hardest part was installing because since Chrisc sells the fiberclass replicas it didn't line up perfect so I had to kind make my own holes for bolting it up. Since its fiberglass, it tends to crack so I had to be careful.

They're attached to the fender but you don't need to remove the front bumper to install them. Looks good, man. Keep up the good work on your Celica. -------------------- |

You don't need to remove your bumper of fender, or atleast I didn't. Under your bumper and fender there are bolts down there that hold up your under body panel and the tabs on the splitters line up with the bolts. I just had to measure it and drill. Since the bolts were so rusted half of them snapped so I just got new bolts. It isn't hard to install it. It just takes some time and a lot of patience because fiberglass is a b!tch. -------------------- |
