Last night i was finishing up on the last stretch of the swap and i put in the clutch fluid in. I am having a problem with the shifting. 1st &2nd gear will go in too easy, even without the clutch pushed in for some reason. 3rd, 4th, have a hard time going in. 5th and rev. are extremely hard. It almost feels as though the clutch does not exist. Its an ACT street puck and pressure plate. I did bleed the slave cylinder as well
This is all in need to the finish the swap, i appriciate the help.

The clutch doesn't affect how the tranny shifts when the car's not moving. I'm gonna guess it's an issue with your shift linkages.

FYI... rev match and you can shift without the clutch.

If you are using GT shifter cables they might be causing your problem. I hear of guys using 205 cables for that tranny.

I will return one day.

are you doing this with the car running or not? if its not running, and has been sitting for a while with no fluid, it wont really want to go in gear. fire it up and let it run for a while. make sure you bleed your clutch too.

Like Jeff said, using GT shift cables on the E153 can cause difficult shifting, hence why I'm currently looking for ST205s.

No... cause that tranny is the same series tranny (same box, different gearing/diff) as the Stock GT... The e153 is a completely different tranny.

I took the tranny mount off to look at the way the shift linkages were drilled into the tranny and i think they might be off, If i could get pics would anyone be able to tell? let me know please.
