If it is the TWM specifically for the 6th Gen, installation will be a snap. Make sure you have an extension bar for the socket wrench of at least 6 inches to handle the bolts that mount the shifter assembly to the chassis.

Got it installed yesterday smile.gif it came with pretty easy how-to directions. Took me about 45 min to get it together. Woulda been faster if i wouldn't of dropped a clip under my floor carpet, But i got it on and done. I love how its way stiffer then the stock one and yes VERY low. Drove around yesterday getting used to it. Very nice tight shifts wink.gif

That looks just like my 7th gen shifter, except it has a little bend. My shifter is strate. I'm going to take mine out and heat it up and bend it so it's a little farther away from the e-brake handle.

It's a heck of a lot cheaper. It took about 2 weeks for me to get used to it. I didn't like it at all at first. There are a lot of guys that like it better than I did. You don't have to buy a new boot or nob or anything. I think I have a little bit of transmission problems I'm working on, so my dislike of it is mostly likely that. If I wanted a short shifter, I would go with the 7th gen again. My only question is going short shifter or keeping stock. That's the only thing to really think about.

Ya you can get the TWM one like mine at www.twmperformance.com they are pretty pricey but again i think its worth it. But make sure you understand what your getting lol. Its short if you want a short shifter, and short throw there both that lol. I like it a lot tho.
