My car
I'm currently thinking of painting the STX logo in the link above, but I donno if it will match up with the other logos. What exactly is the difference between chrome and chrome paint? If they don't match up should I just paint all 4 of them Chrome? Sorry, I really donno what to do. Just trying to grab some ideas, thanks.

chrome is actual metals
copper base, nickle and then chrome plate...

paint is just that paint..it appears sort of like chrome as that its shiney but doesn't have the clear reflection and quality obviously
it will fade and peel eventually..

So what do you suggest I do? I'm stomped. I would just remove it but then that space would seem kindof empty.

i cant remember the paint company, but one company makes a really nice chrome paint. C-West used it for an all chrome S2K.

Isnt there a canadian dude with a chrome painted M3 as well , i remember reading about it . The painter had to fly to Italy to learn a special technique to applying chrome paint - apparntly its really expensive and bloody tricky.
Imagine tricky to keep it clean too kindasad.gif
