What type of paint do I use. And is there something that I need to know before I paint it? Any precautions whatsoever?

i painted mine with testors pain.

the biggest tip i will give you is to do one smooth layer and thats it. if you mess with it too much it will look "painted"

Thanks lagos, anyone else have ideas, again I still want the needles to light up, like lagos said and not have the "painted" look.

yeah that would work.

just remember, one nice thick and smooth coat. then walk away from it for a few hours.
