So i was drivin my car today, was out for maybe 40 min. Any ways, i was sittin at a light and just sittin with my foot on the breaks. Any ways, i pushed down really hard on the pedal cuz i was trying to reach around the seat to grab a cd from the back and all of a sudden the car started to shake really badly and the rmps dropped to like 800 or 750. So i let off the break a bit, reved it back up to normal idel, and it was fine. But i did it again and it almost cut out. THis same thing happened b4 i went to get my motor replaced when i was backin out of my drive way. Could it be a vacume leak off the power break booster?? of a vacume leak at all?? and if its not, what could cause my motor to just about die when i put my breaks on hard??

a leak would send more air into the engine and raise the RPM's.
