so i took my wheel off the other day. i never noticed it before, but on the inside of the rims were some markings about the weight and size. to my SHOCK, the rims said 17x7 1/2 !!! i always thought i had 17x7s. i tried to look around for an offset marking but couldnt find one. does anyone know if there is an easy way to tell what the offset is?

Just measure from the center of the rim to the point where it bolt on the the car. Looking at pics of your car i think its 35 (stock offset)

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

lol ... no

i was trying to figure out the offset as well. i also wasnt sure if the rim size was posted as "17x7" "1/2jj" or "17x7 1/2" "jj". i ordered 17x7s and always thought that was what i had.
