anyone have any wiring diagrams for this mess? marks harness had a different connector to this assembly, which i assume means he had a different assembly because he had stock fog lights (and the controls for this are on this lighting assembly correct?)
now my harness has all of the same wires, minus 2 that i assume are for fog lights, so i do not need those. when i went to splice the two together everything went great except for a few things: my plug had a green/black wire whereas his plug had a green/red wire, they plugged into the same spot on the connector so i just spliced them together. the major thing is that his connector had 2 prongs with white/black with 1 silver dot on it, now i cut them both, and decided that the one i didnt need was the one that was not located on my harness in the same spot. now i spliced the rest of the wires together and get to the black/white wire on my connector, and i find no black/white wires coming from the harness, i further inspect to see that (and heres the weird part) the stock white/black wire jsut ran in a loop straight back on to the connector. can you see any reason for this? ahh.. this is one big mess , this interior stuff, i swear, the engine swap is proving to be less difficult than this damn electronic mess of an interior. -------------------- |
