i just bought the celica a gift. Just like the title says - its the Cusco PILLOW BALL UPPER MOUNT SET/ FRONT/ CAMBER ADJUSTABLE -- from www.japanparts.com

total came out to be $249.33. - i think it'll be 2-3 wks before i receive it since its coming from Japan.

Can't wait - this should do wonders to the Tein setup that I already have - didn't order the rear ones since i'm on a budget this month-

One step closer to making this car a better ride.

I definitely will have pictures when I install it.

is this just to angle the tires outward for racing or what? seems like allot of bread for some adjustable mounts.

i don't know if its my eyes playing tricks on me or what - but after lowering the car with the teins - the tires/rim has a slight slant to it like this \ --- hope the cusco will help with that

my mounts were messed up anyways so i needed new ones - i think before i had the teins the dropzone coilovers wore out the mounts real bad -

why does someone need these? i thought these are good for people that do drifting because they want that angle in the front. My friend had these on his 240, they creeked real bad when he turned. Couldnt someone just get camber correction bolts to fix the negative camber a drop gave?

received the mounts this morning - i was limited on time and did not have time to take any pictures - cause i knew i would be late for work --

ride quality definitely was better than stock mounts -

to those who plan on getting Teins SS and using cusco mounts - you will not be able to use EDFC - so don't bother buying it -- cause with the cusco mounts - their will not be enough space to squeeze it in - not an issue with hood clearance - just an issue with no more thread showing from the top bolt

another issue is that the cusco mount raises the coilovers about 1 inch - so you will have to lower it again - if i remember correctly their are 16 or 20 grooves on the body of the strut for lowering/higher adjustments - -- before i had 8 grooves going from bottom to top - now i have to lower it a bit more (not sure if that made any sense - but when i come back from my trip to MO next week - i'll remove the wheels n take pictures for everyone to see)

-- another thing i noticed that wasn't there before with stock mounts - is a new noise - now i can hear the strut/coilover gas pressure when going over bumps -- not sure if this is normal or not - but it doesn't bother me since ride quality is better --

-- now i'm gonna head out to get a realignment done --

i got the alignment done - and steering wheel centered --

one bad thing about the cusco mounts - is that it doesn't have a bearing device - because without that its compressing the parts or springs part causing a little grinding noise -- when the time allows i will have to contact a bearing manufacturing company to produce something for this problem --

the noise wasn't as bad as the dropzone coilovers i had back then -- cornering feels a bit better --
