Background:
Ok so here recently I did the Indiglo gauges and swapped the holder case area that was below the cd player to be above my cd player to cut down on the glare that hits the cd player.... I used a ground for the gauges on a bolt that lies hidden in the car and used the power source out of the fuse box. They work great. No fuses are blown

Problems:
1) CD player doesn't work
2) fan closest to drivers side comes on with ignition
3) Horn doesn't work
4) weird distorted noises coming from the same place that beeps when the key is in the ignition when the key is turned...
5) I have a grounded wire with a plug that leads to nothing

Sounds of weird problems

IPB Image
what is this plug to?
BTW this is grounded to a bolt under the fuse box and then just has the plug there.... I do not know what takes a ground that could be unhooked and if it's relevant my horn isn't working

that does not look like an OEM part. I think the pervious owner was installing an alarm or something and that is the left overs of the system.

Dustin, everything was working okay before? Are you certain that no fuses are blown? Where are you taking power from at the fuse box? And can you convert that file to a different type, like a WAV or something so that I can listen to it?

I will re-check the fuses today, everything was indeed working before hand, the fan hasn't been turning on in the pst 2 days so i'm not sure what its deal is. I am taking the power from the top left fuse. I forget what it actually goes to, but it is only 7.5 amps. Yeah I will take a vid today with my digicam and post it up. The video already listed will play if you have QuickTime Player, but just incase I will make a new one. Thanks man smile.gif

try taking power from another fuse, the 7.5 might not be powerfull enought to put accessories through.

about the extra plug, if was grounded before, then put it back to ground.

there is a horn fuse in the engine bay, 7.5, check it.
