Well...

It somewhat has always been one of my dream cars.

My celica was just one that was handed down to me biggrin.gif

Anyways, I am looking to buy one of these... would you guys recommend it? I have heard and read that the torque is not enough, the back seat area is too small, blind spots, etc...

So, do you guys recommend this car for me? What I want from a car is to have a good exterior look, and that's probably it.. LOL. And maybe touching up the interior also.

So what I am probably really trying to ask is, is the engine good enough that I dont have to do anything major to it and it'll still be a fast quick car?

any thoughts?

Yeah I guess... my other car that I had in mind was an EVO. Or like a 97-98 Supra.

But.. what i can find for the supra are supra's that has been driven the heck out with 100k+ miles or close to it and still is being offered around 25+.

The evo, just kinda a bit expensive and probably the insurance... and the 4 doors..

So yea, any other car you can think of?

I think the RSX is a fantastic car and the Type-S just that much better. I would definitly say go for it. Huge aftermarket and they are very reliable, great gas mileage, look good, i say worth the cash.

EVerything has been brought up. I love them. Not THAT flashy exterior wise, but great interior, plenty of go, lots of aftermarket...its just Front Wheel Drive, that's its only problem

if you do make sure it is an rsx - s... its a k20a2 and with intake, headers, exhaust, a krpo ecu, and mild cams you will be ripping up the streets and leaving a majority of the cars on the road in your dust

I don't dig the exterior, but (sorry toyota, sorry celica) the interior is 10000000x better looking than the 7th gen Celica.

well, a FWD(front wheel drive) has power exerted through the front wheels. While RWD has power transmitted through the rear wheels.

its the difference between the front wheels pulling the car and the rear wheels pushing the car.

If you just drive your car around like most of us and occasionnaly push hard on the gas, FWD vs RWD isnt worth neglecting a RSX as a car.

What do you mean? Like its not worth getting the RSX?

The reason I wanted it is because I like how it looked.. exterior wise, I know some of you didn't like it.. but yeah..

I mean.. I dont plan on racing or anything at all.. besides I live in CA and I wouldn't get away with anything... If I wanted to race, I would of probably opt for an EVO, which is about the same price give or take a grand or so. So it's not like I'm going to mod the heck out of it. The thing I didn't like about the EVO is because the interior is so freaken ugly. It looks like a bunch of old fabrics and parts just slapped on it.

Yeah, any more thoughts?

No I meant the RSX being a FWD is not really a negative, the car has so much more to offer.
