I just got my first '94 ST and want to get the most H.P. out of the engine possible w/out a turbo. Anybody have a full parts list for the engine so I don't have to search the entire site? I've got the weapon R intake, a fuel rail, H.P. fuel pump, and some other stuff, but I'm sure somebody has the goods on what goes and what doesn't. Someone help?

i dont mean to ruin your plans but you wont get too far with the 7afe. doggy pushed his 7a to about 200hp with a turbo and a very nice setup that cost him a lot of money. for the same amount of money or a bit more, you can swap a 3sgte and have a good 200+hp. the head design of the 7afe just isnt designed to perform. if u want NA power then swap in a 4age blacktop 6spd. those are nice. i really dont mean to ruin ur plans but i had the same ones when i joined the site and after reading so much, it isnt worth the time and money trying to get the 7a to perform. the only way id stick with the 7a is if i turbo it and that would mostly be to learn more about my engine and turbos.

Try ebay. clips go for around 2K (Engine, Trans, ECU, ect)

I would go for either a 4AGE silvertop or a 4AGE blacktop 6sp though, just because it is a little more uncommon (has anyone done a blacktop yet?) That is good N/A power. the 3SGTE is turbo (duh) but you can try and find a BEAMS 3SGE, but good luck.

Bolt-ons aren't so much tuning as they are ways to free up restriction on the motor. All performance engine builds are pretty much the same, cause nearly all 4 stroke engines work on the same principle. More compression, more air= more power. To get more compression, you get higher comp pistons. To get more air, you get a better induction system, you increase the head's flow via ports, valves, cams, etc, and to make it all work, you tune the fueling and ingition. This is the same for all engines, but each engine is different and has limits based on their original designs and intents.
