So, today i decided i was going to give my trunk a good cleaning. I vaccumed and scotch guarded the flooring then pulled it up to discover a disaster! The spare tried wasnt not fixed in place, it was flat, and the grime was so thick.. uhh... it was just really thick tongue.gif anyways, i started cleaning... and decided i would fill up the spare tire. AS i pull it out i discover a LOAD of junk underneath it. I bought this car a month ago, used, and i doubt this area has ever been seen before. I found medals, golf tees, name tags, you name it. Once i cleaned out all the junk i was left with a few parts which may or may not belong to my car, so I thought who else would know these parts better than the 6gc community smile.gif So im attaching two pictures of the same parts at different angles, and if you recognise them, please let me know where to put them! Thanks alot smile.gif

Angle 1

Angle 2

A) (possibly holds down spare)
B) Tail light peg cover on back panel
C) Back panel in trunk
D) Back seat rail cover
E) ???
F) Panel cover from trunk

dont know the technical terms but c is for the back panel of your trunk
d covers the back of your seat rails
f is used to hold on various panels in the trunk
not 100% sure cause of the angles of the pic but a might be used to hold down your spare but cant really tell
never seen b or e before though... really looks like someone tried to run wires for subs (or had some other reason for takign all that paneling off) tried to put it back together and missed alot of parts not knowing where they went and just threw em in the trunk

a: goes on top of the spare, a wing nut holds it down
b: no clue
c: they go on the back of the back panel covering the bolts
d: back seat rail cover? sure okay
e: no clue
f: those hold the carpet part to the top of the car, theres 3 of em in the upper rear area.

I know what E is! brings me back to my band days.. when i played the bass guitar.

E: microphone clip. (screws onto the top of a microphone stand and the mic clips into that groove.

most of you are correct.

a hold spare down
b cover on the inner rear trunk plastic
c plastic nuts that help hold that same plastic secure
d seat rail cover (pull your seat forward and look behind it for the rail, that is a cover)
e not 6gc related
f those are kinda common, there are some behind your rear strut covers, holding more plastics secure wink.gif

if you want pics as to where anything goes, let me know

my eye went right to e. as jcbass said, it's the part that holds a microphone to a mic-stand.

Wow, I just spent about an hour tring to put all these peices in... how you guys could tell me where they went form that photo is amazing tongue.gif . but ive still got 3 peices left... B, A, D. bad tongue.gif anyways, its no biggie if i cant get them in... i mean, if i dont notice it now i probably dont need it. But if you have a clarification on the location it goes, i would apprecheate that!

A) Tried placing that on/around/near spare... couldnt for the life of me figure out how it attaches. Also... the bottom of it appears to actually go into a hole... The has a round head, and skinnier body, implying you push it into a whole, and it doesnt come out.

B) I put in C in the holes.. they worked awesome... but couldnt find a place for B ?

D) I see the seat rail cover on the passenger side, and the drives side IS missing one... but this peice is a much different shape than the passenger side and couldnt get it to affix in any way.

for the spare, there should be a long screw type that goes thru the spare, thru that wood piece. then have A go on top that and you hold it down with a wing nut or a nut.

(A) is a body plug. youll have to remove the spare tire and look for a large hole. Or possibly under the back seat bottom cusion. (D) Is a front seat hold down bolt cover. should go in the rear of the seat. There are only 4 bolts per seat. (B) is a interior cover screw hole cover. cant tell you without looking at my car. Ill look later when its light outside.

There are two rails for each seat. total 4 covers. 2 of each kind.

I think yours is actually the drivers side next to the door one.

Bingo! haha... i made the mistake of thinking the curve in the peice made contact with the curve on the seat... Wrong! But i've got it now, thanks everyone smile.gif

Well it could have been some custom peice, you know like an on the road karaoke machine, then you could drive and sing without having to hold the mic biggrin.gif laugh.gif biggrin.gif
