Hey guys i just removed the little rock protecters off the side of the fenders i was just wondering if i should worry about water getting in through the holes and possibly rusting out the bottom? I didnt know if the water would just fall right out or not.
And a little side view, dark outside so the flash makes it look kinda weird. Damn i need to get that pinstripe off, and the mirrors and door handles repainted -.- ~FlamingCelica This post has been edited by FlamingCelica: May 1, 2006 - 8:35 PM -------------------- 94 Red Celica ST

I wouldn't worry about it too much.
I don't think all celica's have those anyway. And even so, the bottom of the fender on the inside lip is relatively flat, so any water would slush out or evaporate. The probability of rust being an issue heavily depends on which part of the country you're from also. -------------------- |

You can get across one problem - on the passenger side of the car there is wiring loom going in from engine bay, in case it is not properly sealed you risk a short circuit.

ive taken both side fenders off and can tell u that there really isnt a place for water to pool if memory serves. As far as the wiring loom goes its a bit hi pluse most of the wires are seal in their pretective wire shroud so i wouldnt be to worried about that either. depending on what condish ur loom is in it can be risky.
