Word, I bet it'll make that motor feel nice. Good luck, and post plenty of pics and driving evaluations.

QUOTE(LewFX @ May 21, 2006 - 6:29 AM) installed today, whew, what a pain in the arse..4 hours+ and with a neighbors help. pictures and sounds later If you combine all the time that I have been under my ST trying to get it to fit right it would be about that long. What didn't work? My manifold was rusted to the first cat and the cat was rusted to the down pipe. |

the pain was the downpipe bolts, once decided not to come off and get stripped, luckily i have a the bolt out from craftsman. but i didnt have a 1/2 extension. so missing a few sockets and asking neighbors for em and then i had to drill a 1/2" into the downpipe to make the new 1/2" bolts fit. working in a carport, dark, using a flashlight, burning my fingers, cuttin my arms, good times.

:scared: i hope my install on tuesday goes better. im going to try to drop my exhaust as one peice from the head to the cat, then if i need to seperate it i can fiddle with it on the ground where i can get tools to it. i got a corolla stainless 4-2-1 header on ebay for $100 shipped. i'll post up how it feels on the corolla 7afe (fed spec) when im done.
