hi everyone im new hear but my friend has a mk3 and i have a 96 st ... i was looking forward to a 3sgte (2nd gen) swap but i was still wondering can i still beat/catch up to him if i did the swap ..(mk3 is stock) and one more thing the 3sgte swap isn't legal for Cali is it...any Cali driver out there...

I've personally seen a swapped but stock ST whip the sh*t out of a basically stock MKIII (Assume you mean Supra). The Supra was Turbo and the Celica had a RC ST185 motor so maybe this isn't the best basis for comparison.
Another question you should ask yourself is can you beat you're friend? Drivers can make a huge difference - positive or negative wink.gif

i'm definitly one to vouch for that. i took on a chick driving an is300 and i should not have won but i did! good times.
