Hey guys,
i have a st202 celica and was wanting to add more power to her. the plan in the end is to fit the engine with a supercharger but that will be quiet expensive so will be the last thing fitted. im wanting a little information on the following items. Induction kits / air filters. Exhaust systems Sports Cam`s Lightened fly wheel light weight pullys Just wondering what compaines everyone use and what are the main advantage of each product. a rough price guide would be nice and any links to companies that could supply me these parts. Thanks in advance KEnny |

First we need to know if you have a GT or ST.

Intake and exhaust act only as improvements to the engine's efficiency. Camshafts can dramatically change the engine's characteristics (more power)... but are more expensive and require significant tuning. There's no such a thing as 'bolt on' power when it comes to camshafts. Light/underdrive pulleys are fairly decent, but only free up minor power from engine rotation. The light flywheel is the same concept as the light/underdrive pulleys, but load reduction is applied directly to the engine. It's the most responsive mod and fairly cheap to do.

The car is a GT but i have been told its the st202 dont really know the difference between st or a gt.
So what would you people reccommend for decent power upgrades. Thanks Kenny |

If you live in the North America its a ST204 everywhere else its a ST202. Supercharger fitted on a 3S-GE engine has been done 1 or 2 times in the UK with stock pistons they got about 225-230 bhp out of the engine. But its still very expensive to do. I was also looking for a SC for my 3S-GE but went another way.
