Ok, my rear left caliper's slider don't seem to be working..the wheel stop at the slightess touch of the brake pedal but the outside of the rotor doesn't look "shiny", as if only the inner pad is applying force. Is it a big job to dismantle the sliders and lube the thing up? What the proper technique ?

A caliper overhaul isn't hard, but make sure you get a caliper overhaul kit with
gommets and all the parts. Won't take long to overhaul one. smile.gif

When u say slider do you mean the rubber pieces that attaches to the brackets and holds the caliper on, or do you mean the caliper piston it self?

If its just the rubber parts you can buy new ones at any auto part store. Its usually the caliper bolts and pins and a caliper bushing kit should be no more than 20-25$ Plus you will need some High temp grease 13$ for a bottle very expensive stuff.

I would be talking about the caliper pins and bolts and bushing, the piston works smile.gif

IF its just the pins and bolts buy new ones and tap out the old ones. If they are super rusted on you will need to hammer them out being careful not to break the bracket. Then once out you have to take a sander or something and clean the insides of the bolt / pin holes to remove buildups. Once done tap the new sliders into place and grease the end of the caliper bolt and stick it in. It should be like new now. Use only High temp grease.
