My Celica and I are moving from Florida to Indiana in August. Neither of us have lived anywhere it snows. I have had her since she rolled off the lot in 95.
Any insite on anything I should do to prep her for the snow? I am told it doesn't snow enough to need snow tires and they plow the roads really good. Unfortunately I don't have a garage for her up there so she will be out in the snow. Thanks for your input. |

Thanks for your input. i would recommend putting about two good coats of wax on your car before it gets cold. The salt on the roads will eat away at your clearcoat and paint. i also would definately not use summer tires. i Know from experience. If you have some all-seasons on stockies those will do just fine. -------------------- Former Celica Owner... RIP 08-2007

I have bf goodrich tires Traction T/A. Awesome traction in the summer and winter. I drove it a lot during winter time, haven't had any problems with it. Umm yea just wax it during winter time. If you dont have a garage, try a car cover I think they work well.
