I came outside of a store and a lil boy was admiring my car he couldnt have been over 3 years old. Then I opened the door to my car and was about to get in when I saw him fall in the dirt and he started crying but then once I got in it and started to back up and he heard the car and saw it move he instantly stopped crying lol. I love when lil kids love my car. The most sincere compliments are those from kids and those from older know it all guys.

I envy you for that story! I really do-it is so cute!
Up until recently, around my Celi, the only one crying was me, since I was pretty much broke (rims, tires and suspension cost me a whole lot of paperīnīcoins smile.gif ), and I couldnīt afford to repaint it the way I wanted to, so I just shed those tears in gallons! smile.gif
But thatīs in the past now...I donīt have to cry about that anymore!
Nower days, when the exterior is 99% completed, I have a different problem, which is people slobbering all over my car, touching it, and leaving sweaty and sticky fingerprints all over it (which I always found strange, since Iīve always enjoyed LOOKING at a pretty car)...it annoys me A WHOLE LOT! kindasad.gif
...but what can I do...or as a song by Depeche Mode says clearly; "People are People" wink.gif

LOL
Thatīs one of the best "sticker-slogans" that Iīve ever heard!
Although I have "T&A (logo)...Powered by Tits and Ass (slogan)" sticker in preparation to put on my bumpers!
My mother drives a Yaris (or Vitz in JDM), and since itīs lowered and a bit styled, its bumper sticker says "PRAISE THE LOWERED"
Mom takes pride in that... laugh.gif

Sorry ībout OT...

We have a say in my country meaning that you only get the truth from small children and crazy people.
This reminds me of my god son who loves my GT4 since he was 2 years old. He could speak a word and he could bare walk but still he loved my car. The funny thing was that he understood the difference from the similar cars. He could understand the difference between my silver GT4 and my silver Curren. Heck I know plenty of adults that dont.

Yeah I love kids compliments... they say it like it is... I have had several that are like "wow that looks fast" and "I wish I had this car" and one just stood with his mouth open for 2 minutes and then asked if it was a supra.. smile.gif

but my all time favorite was at a local car show/meet, a father and his little son walked by it, and the dad said "you'll never guess what this car is" and the little child says..... "dirty.." lol

A similar scenario happened to me once, only with a young couple; They were walking along, holding hands, stopped, he stared at my car (it was an Audi 80 back then), and said to her something like "Honey do you know what this car is?" ...and she also said "Yup! Dirty as hell!"
Of course, I was very near, so I heard it, and since Iīm so mildly mannored, obviously I had an answer; "So is my girlfriend!"

This wouldnīt be much of a joke if it werenīt for the "Honey", who then swiftly turned to her "male Honey" and asked him "See?! So why canīt you be?!?"

I rolled on the floor (litterally) and laughed my *ss off!
"Honey" ruled!
