i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

You'd need to upgrade your boot strutts too mate if its never had a spoiler on it as they are less stong for the no spoiler boots as they are for the spoilered ones.

The Hatchbacks have the additional brake light above the toyota badge on the bootlid, thats why its higher in the middle than the other one.

Currens have different headlights than our Celicas hence the different name. Japan had both Celica coupes and Currens.

Currens have different headlights than our Celicas hence the different name. Japan had both Celica coupes and Currens.

Celica coupes must be a rare Japanese car then. I could import just about any Japanese car I want (within $$$ reason) and I've never seen one.

I am from Hong Kong and also wondering the existing of Celica Coupe in Japan.

As all the Celica in Hong Kong are JDM and RHD, come with Liftback or Hatch only + very few convertible indeed. I never find any coupe in Hong Kong, only one Curren ST206 and convert the Celica Front Clip to make it lookalike.

It's also very hard or unable to find a 2nd hand Celica Coupe in Japan Used car website.
