a couple weeks ago i was curious on how much horsepower the n/a 5sfe would get a the wheel with some light mods so i scheduled a dyno and my results were 109.4hp @ 5345 rpm and 123.6 lb/torque @ 4326 rpm...i was a little dissapointed but what can i expect with 207k on the odometer...i still ran 16.3 at the track so i'm happy...

Tottally off topic but,
This reminds me of the 240SX that was equipped with a RB20 Skyline I6 Turbo charged car, that I saw last saturday at a Supra meet. It produced a fantastic, outstanding crap-taculus WHP of 250. Not only did I LMAO, If I was the owner of the 240 I would feel ashamed, dissapointed, and angry that I did a motor swap that produced 5hitty a55 power. And his Excuse " It has a boost leak". ------------------------------------------------------------ I should gegt a dyno of the 4age and see what it gets. |

Thanks for making that run and posting it up. It's great to know how much the stock engine puts to the wheels, but people rarely will run the car to find out.
So that means that a mildy modified 3SGTE will put down 125% more power than the stock engine. SWEET -Doc -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |

nice run...your prolly down a "bit" with that many miles, but not too bad, considering my 98 5sfe that had under 60k when i dynoed @ ~115whp with an injen short ram.

Now I don't feel as depressed! Lol. Mines a '98, but my motor's got ~~30k (swapped) w/ light mods. I was really interested to see what the WHP would be.
