I think I have a buyer lined up, but in case that falls through I'd like to get the jump on finding out if anyone wants these.
They're 16 inch American Racing "Spyder" rims with 205/50 Ultra HPR Radial GT tires on them. The rims I've used on my 91 before and they have about 25000 miles of use, but the tires have less than 120 miles. I put a new set of rubber on the rims when I bought the 96 two weeks ago and there's something wrong with the car that won't let me use these rims. The steering wheel wobbles all over the place when these are on the 96. There is an almost imperceptable shake in my steering wheel with the factory 15 inch wheels and 55 series tires, and the problem gets very much worse with the 16 inch wheels and 50 series tires. These wheels work absolutely fine on the 91, so there's nothing wrong with them, it's my car that has the problem. I've already bought a set of 15 inch rims to replace the factory ones hoping the light shimmy in the steering wheel will stay that way and I won't need to fix something in the drivetrain or suspension, at least for a while. I need to move these. I don't want to disclose price just yet, the potential buyer said he'd let me know for sure today, but if it falls through I'm open for others who are interested. I have a picture of the wheels on my 96 in my profile. I'll try to add another (I think we can have three pics total) that show them off better. I also have pics of just the wheels and tires as well as what they look like on my 91 I'm trying to sell. Email me at DoothaBartman@netscape.net |

I don't know how to add pics to the posts, but I have plenty to send through email. Any tips on how to get pics on a post?
The wheels have been balanced and ride true, it's the car that has something wrong with it. The lower profile tires bring out the flaw in the suspension or drivetrain. The shimmy is there with the factory wheels, but you can hardly tell, so I'm keeping 15's on the car. Besides, the shake only starts to happen after I get over 50 miles an hour, so it's probably an axle. |

There are now pictures on my profile page of the wheels and tires on the 91 as well as sitting by themselves not on a car, along with a shot of them on my 96. All you have to do to see them is click on my member name and you'll see my profile page along with the four photos. I have more pics to send if you want them.
I think the buyer I had decided not to buy. I'll let these guys go for 475 plus shipping. It's a sweet deal. The rims cost me 130 apiece when they were new and the tires cost 96 each. Do the math. It's half off. Once again, the wheels and tires are fine, they ride smooth as a baby's butt on my 91. It's the 96 that has a problem with either the suspension or drive train, it only starts to wobble after 50 miles an hour. |

I'm just letting this one die. No one seems to be interested. My profile pics have been changed anyway to better showcase my car instead of the wheels. The tire shop will give me 200 for the tires anyway, maybe somebody will want to buy just the rims later on...
