Wow. well there was a small 7th gen meet here in Fremont NE. About 10 7th gens. Anyways i found out about there website called www.newcelica.org. To get to the point I'm glad i have a 6th gen and have this site instead of that one. This site is way more laid back, and everyone doesn't talk crap about everyones car. I was looking at pictures and reading messages of what people say about some of there cars. Its kinda sad to see people saying o your cars ugly, and stupid stuff like that. I'm just really glad i have a 6th gen and have a site where everyone helps everyone out, and isn't so stubborn as these people seem. And would like to thank COOMER for this sweet website. Thanks coom.

I'd also like to thank you guys for accepting me to the site and not flaming me as I do not own a 6GC, but a 5GC. This is one of the most chilled/drama-less sites Ive seen. I love it here.

The site admin and his cronies (mods) do a great job... that's why.... and most of us here are content with the relative slowness of our cars... heh... so we don't feel the need to stroke the internet peen because really... what's the point? ;P

This site has potential to get better with age. Their will be less of the kiddies, and more enthusiast. The 7th gen Celica's are kind of a "cool" thing. So, they have more of a immature following. If you want to modify a 6th gen, you really have to want to do it. They aren't cheap, and they aren't fast. I guess we're just a bunch of idiots. It's a pretty car though.

It will for awhile, because now the 6th gens are getting cheap. They are good first cars for kids. But they won't always be that way. In a couple years, not many will want them. Then, this site will be all true enthusiasts. wink.gif

i got 'accidentally' banned from newcelica.org because i was referred from celica.net, a few of the old school people on here went over there, one of them started **** (6th gen versus 7th gen) and they wound up banning like 20-30 of us.

they can kiss my ass purely because of them mass banning all of us for owning 6th gens, but the site is pretty good for technical information.

i only learned a few things from going there... basically, the aftermarket for the 7th gens is way better than ours, you *have* to turbo/supercharge to see any serious gains, and supposedly a stock gt-s can do low 14's properly driven, maybe even high 13's with the most perfect launch ever.
