hey everybody. after consulting some experts and getting some common sense injections, i've determined that my shifting issues are not due to the clutch or the shifter itself, but rather that i have a couple bad synchronizers and possibly even bad gears themselves (specifically first, third, and reverse).
i'm thinking it's probably faster, easier, and not too much more expensive to just replace the trans than to have someone pull it apart and fix it (or try it myself...which i'd be none too excited to do) should i get another gt 5spd trans, or are there better ones out there? whats the deal with the camry ones? any help is appreciated. -------------------- do you know who i am, mr. worley? |

i was planning on that...just figured i'd ask in case there was something i might have missed that would work better in the long run.
for now, i'm going to just switch to pennzoil synchromesh and drive it as long as i can. thanks. -------------------- do you know who i am, mr. worley? |
