I hear about people upgrading their brake lines all the time. What kind of difference can I feel if I upgrade my stock brakes/lines w/ stainless steel lines? Or should I not waste my time?

Over time your stock lines become weak, and can not hold the pressure aswell. Being rubber they flex, and you lose some response. The stainless are either hard lines that will not flex or steel braid over rubber nylon blend that reduce flex also. So steel lines are more responsive compared to stock rubber lines, your brakes will feel stronger because you won't need to apply as much pedal pressure. Hope this helps.

They are easy to install...take off a few 12mm, 14mm, and 10mm bolts and then they go right on. Then you just need to bleed your brakes.

they make a hudge difference in the way you drive..no brake fade, better stopping power. better pedal response and good because if you like taking corners fast, and you need to hit the brakes a bit half way through, its less work to stop it/slow it down. and also because of the stiffening up of the pedal, alot less braking time/time on the pedal to recude the speed. Im usin them right now with just crappy rotors and pads, but im going to be swapping to slotted rotors and carbon ceramic pads soon. Ill let you know how that goes with the braking too.

I've just ordered some, cos my rear calipers keep sticking even though I have them off and lubed up cleaned every couple of months. Hope its the rear pipes that have collapsed. Oh well changing the pipes will tell me if it is.
Let you know how I get on. |

I got mine from Russel Fittings, pretty much any where that sells Edelbrock parts should be able to order these.

I got them from my local Schucks...I searched and found them somewhere online for $85 I think, then printed off the page and took it in and they matched the price. What actually happened though was they called me yesterday and cancelled my order and refunded my money because they ended up not being able to get them.
