Just in case, get another bulb. Also check your fuses. These are the first things to check before you panic.

umm...don't mean to thread-jack...but I have a similar problem with a rear signal, changed the bulbs and checked the fuses, everything's fine. It's just the one signal that's not working, but what else can be done? Change the metal piece that the bulb goes into?

i have the same prop wit my driver side sidemarker but if i hit it a few times it comes back on. i think its either somthing is loose in the housing itself or that it could be the ground wire. im goin to reground my sidemarker soon.. hell i'll do it know and see if thats the prop wit mine.

this is where a test light comes in handy...
it only costs about $6.. One thing possible as well is, the harness' contact is not tight enough for the bulb or both contacts meaning bulb and harness are not touching or is not aligned with each other. Sometimes can be corrected by bending the contacts inside the harness to reposition them.

What I would do if I was you:
Use a multimeter, and set it to test for voltage, hold the 2 pins inside the plug for the 194 side marker bulb. If you see 12 volts, then you know that all your wiring and fuses are fine, and you have a dead bulb. If you see 0 volts, or less than 11 volts, then you have a problem in your wiring, or the plug itself. -------------------- '92 Grey Mitsubishi 3000GT SL - Sold

okay, I fixed mine, the harness had a LOT of corrosion so the wires that supplied power to it weren't really toucing metal. I scraped off some of the corrosion and pressed the wires against the metal and voila! (Now I have a bunch of extra signal bulbs...grrr...)
