For those of you with custom plates, is your plate stamped and printed (like normal plates) or just printed (no stamping?)

I just got my new plates and was a bit disappointed to find that they are just printed and look stupid compared to the letters and numbers in normal plates. kindasad.gif

it depends on your state. In california we get stamped and printed plates. It looks exactly like the normal ones.

yeah every place is different I guess. I'm gonna get personal plates, if I get the regular ones, they print 'em, but if I make a donation to the Historical Society, National Park, or Humane Society, they stamp plates with special backgrounds, and they're still legal, just cost extra.
