I'm still looking at my options for an engine swap, but I want to know roughly how much HP would a 4agze engine put out if it was converted from supercharged to turbocharged. I know it probably depends on boost, which is why I'm asking for a rough number.

About 500 Donkey Power. Seriously though, there is no way to tell with that little information. If you go with a properly sized turbo and run the same PSI as the Supercharger you'll gain a few horses just from eliminating the parasitic loss caused by the supercharger.

Running 15 psi I'd expect around 200 whp.

Not to mention that a properly-sized turbocharger will put out cooler air than the s/c. -Doc -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |

The 4AGZE is a few hundred cheaper at best. Go with the 3SGTE!
