I've found a couple of Pacesetter Headers for the 7A-FE. I decided that I wanted to go Pacesetters becuz the eBay ones for the Corollas header designs are kinda weird looking. They have one piping that bends kinda crazy that looks like it'll slow down that cylinder's exhaust flow. And I looked at Pacesetters and they have Y shaped pipings which is better than the eBay designs. But anyway, I've noticed that the 'polished coated' costs alot more than the 'black coated' ones. I decided to go black becuz of the amount of heat headers create, I'm thinking black will help it reduce by a bit. But then I've been told by my friend that the black Pacesetter headers paint chips off. I'm thinking about throwing 2 layers of High Temp Clear Coat on. Do you guys think it'll help the paint stay on instead of chipping from the vast amount of heat?

i've never actually seen the pacesetter, they had it listed on the site for over a year and every time i emailed them for info they said it was still in production and to check back in 3-4 months. i got tired of it.
all the pics i see on sites are just generic placeholder pics of some other cars header. anyways, the ebay header is much akin to a stock 20Valve 4age header that i saw once, so it cant be that bad of a design? -------------------- |

Don't get the pacesetter headers!! I had it on my 7afe once at it sucked...seriously. One of the welds on the flange cracked from under the header and the black paint practically burned up and flaked off. Maybe that is why it is so cheap over other brands like greddy, etc. I think the craftmanship and material they used sucked. I would, IMO, get a hold of a FWD 4age header, cut off the flange, and weld the factory 7afe flange on there (there might some other fabrication that needs to be done but this is just an example). Most exhaust shops can do that for you at a cost.

Those megan racing and OBX type headers are better than pacesetter, which is actually just a very cheap low-end brand...

I am SO mad... I ordered my header from AutoDynasty (a seller on ebay with great reviews) a week ago, on friday. I can understand the wait over the weekend infact I was expecting it to be through the weekend before they sent it. THEY SENT IT 2 days ago. Wtf? It also is going to take 6 more days to ship it... WHY! HORRIBLE SELLER and i am so mad. I just hope all the parts are there. I will keep everybody posted. My Cat is supposed to be here tomorrow. I checked with UPS and everything is on time.

You should expect that from eBay sellers. They are crap when it comes to shipping. First off, they make extra money from you by increasing the shipping (this makes people think that body kits ship for like 100 dollars in which in fact they dont). And second, they are POOR at shipping activities. I understand people got shiz to do but god damn, you gonna wait 3-5 days after someone bought something from you to give it to them? That's like ordering food and not recieving it until 3-5 hours later. eBay Sellers care less about their customer's priorities. I really don't see how you can't wake up in the morning, run to the shipment office, and get the paper work done in 5-10 minutes and leave. There is NO excuse for that. NONE. I suggest you leave a NEGATIVE feedback.

. I GOT IT ALL INSTALLED TONIGHT. Cant drive it yet until tomorrow becuase i have to put the alternator back in, replug the battery, reset the ecu, and redrill a hole for the o2 sensor. I might need to buy one, becuase the second one of my downpipe is too rusted in to come out... . Maybe i'll just get an ecu upgrade to kill the cel. HMM i will have a pic up in a few minutes. I am so tired. My boss is driving me to work tomorrow, but at 7o'clock. So i have to get up like uber early

you have to have a shop weld in a bung for the screw in O2 sensor.
