damn i feel like an idiot, but can ne one tell me how they installed them?? Did u guys just shaved off the hooks??? . |

On the standard facelift style bumper (96-99) there are holes that these 'hooks' fit into to secure them to the bumper.
Most bodykits, like the veilside don't have the holes for these made during production so that the buyer has a choice of fitting different lights. -------------------- Facelift bumper-foglights-clear indicators, clear side repeaters, 16in O.Z alloys, stainless steel grill. ....but if you are just trying to fit the lights to a standard PRE-facelift bumper then they won't fit because they are a different shape.
Unless you make major alterations to the bumper. -------------------- Facelift bumper-foglights-clear indicators, clear side repeaters, 16in O.Z alloys, stainless steel grill. yeah, i was told the same thing, and mine didnt fit at all... i had to totally chop mybumper in order to get them fir, but they wouldnt fit the right way, so i also had to put them on the opposite sides... like the right one on the left side... looks kinda weird, but i had to get my car inspected.... it was wayyyy past due, so i had to make due,... but if anyone ever finds something that fts better-- please hook a girl up with some knowledge on where to get 'em at

That's what I used when I had the Invader front bumper. Like Tony said, you'll need to drill holes on the bumper. If you don't feel confident doing this, have a shop install it. Here's a (not so good) pic of my car back in the days. Don't mind the rims... I just photoshopped those back 5 months ago just to see if I'd like those rims or not: This post has been edited by kuya1284: Jul 3, 2003 - 4:14 AM |
