You guys remember this? http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?act=ST...f=2&t=40268 She's in the shop right now getting purdied up. But I get a text message from the wife today telling me about this:
Car was parked in the same spot, took a shot in the same spot less than two months after the celica took the hit. I'm fuggin' pissed right now. Her work is going to pay for this one too now, but dang, can we get a break? This time it was the wind. We had winds of 25 gusting to 35 knots today, and it simply blew a cart with enough force to smack our car. I told her she needs to find another spot in the lot. My wife is fed up. We're spending $800 on a 92 Accord tomorrow that's in fair shape on the body (minor sideswipe damage to both sides and a dent to the hood) but is MINT in the inside. Almost 200,000 miles, but it's a Honda. She's refusing to drive any of our "nice" cars to her work anymore. This post has been edited by Fastbird: Oct 20, 2006 - 10:14 PM -------------------- |

ouch... that sucks... again! what I do in my work's parking lot (grocery store) is park uphill so that carts roll away from my car. also, since I'm a bagger/cart collector, if I see any carts near my car I can pull them away before they roll into it.
or, your wife could just slip a couple bucks under the table to each of the cart-collecting employees and ask them to make sure carts don't come within 4 parking spaces of the celica. lol. -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |
