I had the same problem. I think you have to take off the whole dash and get it from behind. But I could be wrong. Get some more suggestions first.

In a MR2, you have to access it from behind the dashboard. My guess it's the same with a Celica.

try takin the glove box off frist and take a look behind it....some ppl here actuially took it off with nio problems...
