anyone ever heard of this being done to a FWD car? just wondering. if so, what are the negatie effects and what not...ok...just wondering...

not sure.. but im pretty sure it would affect the balance of suspension in the front end (but im just talkn out muh a** here)... anywayz.. i want pics of the swap so far.. hehe... need updates tongue.gif

you can solid mount it w/o welding the brackets to the frame...you just weld a little recieving bracket, and run a bolt through it smile.gif.

i just took some polyurethane window sealant, the black crap that they put on windshields. I use that in my mounts. Its like having polyurethane mounts, but you still have the rubber in there. If you leave a few holes inside the mount, then you wont have the vibration of having a solid mount. I did it to my celica when i changed the clutch in it, and it works great, and no vibration either. I did it to my 92 probe when i had it too, and it worked really good then. If you wqant some pics ill take some for ya, and i might even do a write up on it too if you want
