QUOTE(Nibbe @ Nov 13, 2006 - 1:52 PM) Here is also pic of my rim option for the next summer and the size is going to be 19x8". What you guys think? Man 19"s is waaaay too much. I don't know about the road quality there but here in Houston the largest you could get away with would be 17-18"s and even then my friend keeps busting rims on his Celica. Plus my other friend got 19's for his tC and now is having serious problems finding good name brand tires for the odd sized rims and reasonable price. You might want to call a NTB or similar just to price tires for that size first. -------------------- |

It aint problem cos my dad gets some tires from the dealer really cheap. And the road quality is pretty good. Few of my friends rides 20" without any problems.

Instead of ride comfort and endurance of such rims I would rather be concerned about performance - with 19" rims the acceleration is much worse. I would not sacrifice it for the looks (which in my opinion is not too good with such big rims).

^ I totally agree. Not only do you sacrifice performance, in my opinion 19s looks like crap. Way to big. I'd say 17's, MAYBE 18's. But either way, I'd go with projectors first. They look awesome. =]

Dont go 19's and dont get the projectors first. They are nice, but overrated. Ours car were made for being light, nimble and fun to drive. The Teins will give you much more pleasure then the projectors. Save them for later. Thats my opinion since you asked for it.
