ok so i have a friend that is willing to advance my timing for 20 bucks. if i have the 20 to spare, would it be worth it? also, would i notice any gain and would i be ok running 89 octane? thx for any feedback.

ummm....... just dont do it.
========================================= long winded explaination here: in order to see advance timing resultes you will need to run higher octane fuel. Idealily if you ran race gas then advancing timing will yeild results. But since you dont know what it really does. your just blowing 20 dollars on a 2 second job. to advance your timing intitles you to turn the distributor a couple degrees. So if your paying your friend to advance your timing.. does he know what degree will give you performance instead of decreasing performance? |
